Since school, I've been...
After graduation, I spent the summer in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla having a great time on the beach and working at a local bank and enjoying the "Boys of Summer." Attended Columbus State University f/k/a Columbus College f/k/a Cody Road High School with a major in Mama Goldberg's and Peachtree Pub for a couple of semesters....unsure of what I wanted to be when I grew up(still am). I ran for public office in 1992 for Muscogee County Municipal Court Clerk....lost the election but it was certainly a learning experience. Worked in Muscogee County Magistrate Court for 10 years for Judge Haywood Turner. Loved it but needed a change. Left there in 2001 and received my paralegal certification at Auburn University and have worked as a paralegal ever since. I've also obtained my real estate license. Always one for variety. |
My family:
Met and married my wonderful husband Hank of 17 years in 1988 (deserves a medal for putting up with me). Gave birth to my son, Brad in 1989 (conceived on the honeymoon)and had my daughter Carly in 1997. Absolutely the most amazing kids ever. Brad is 16 and a junior at Harris County High School....the ultimate scholar and star athlete(can you believe it)? and all around great kid. Hopefully he will be going to Australia this summer with the Student Ambassadors Program. We hope to be going iwth him!! Carly is "mini me!....Look out world. Very smart and precocious......8 going on 28. Two dogs---Eli & Scrappy---one cat-Simba-one hamster-Raven---one fish-Taylor. |
