Biographical information:

Since school, I've been... After graduating from the University of Georgia in 1990, I moved to the Atlanta area....Snellville, Doraville, Smyrna, Lawrenceville, and now live in Monroe, GA (trying to get closer and closer to Athens)! I have two sons (Aaron,10 and Chaz,7...and a stepdaughter, Caleigh,7)!!! I love all of them dearly! And last, but not least, I am married to the love of my life, Melanie (Newsome) Cooksey...my first kiss in the 7th grade, and the most beautiful girl in the world!!!! We reunited on classmates.com in February of 2004, and married August 6th of 2004!!!! It has been a dream come true! We had to fly back and forth from California (where Melanie had been living) for 10 months or so after we married. We now have lived in Monroe for about 10 months! I adored her in junior high AND high school...and we ALWAYS have had "a thing" for one another...but I was "too nice," so she chose another avenue....God has now reunited us, and we live the most blessed life you can imagine! Every day we wake up to one another is truly unbelievable!

Life experiences: High School: Winning the Region Title in baseball (sports have ALWAYS been a HUGE part of my life)..... *Marrying my beautiful wife, Melanie...and raising our wonderful kids! Going to Georgia athletic events are awesome...go to ALL of their home and away football games, ALL of their home basketball games, and about 20 baseball games every year! No bigger Bulldog fan on this earth! I've had the chance to travel somewhat (whether business or pleasure)...San Francisco,CA, Lake Tahoe, NV, Chicago, IL, Phoenix, AZ...Bahamas and Jamaica...just to name a few! Watching the kids grow up...play sports...etc. And I have GREAT friends!

My favorite things in school: Playing baseball....staring at Melanie in English class (that was corny, uh)? Hanging out with my friends...Mazzio's, rolling people's houses...just being around everyone...I was blessed to have many GREAT friends...David Clark, Matt Dennis, Andrea Digby, Stacy Davis...Larry Caudell...Matt Avera..Garrett Layde...too many to name!!! I miss seeing everybody to this day!

My favorite things now: UGA athletic events, movies, golf, spend time with Melanie and the kids, working in the yard..and traveling when possible!

My favorite books, movies and music: Present day movies: Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption..Primal Fear...big country music fan, but probably have been to 30 concerts as an adult (all "pop" groups from the 70's and 80's)...
